Closing Disclosure

In plain English

A five-page form with the final terms and costs of your mortgage. Your lender must send it at least three business days before closing.

Why it matters to you

Compare it line by line with your Loan Estimate. Some fees can't go up at all and others only by a little, so ask about anything that changed. Those three days are your time to raise questions, not the closing table.

infoGeneral information based on the standard Georgia REALTORS® purchase contract and public guidance. Your own contract decides: read it, and ask your agent or closing attorney about anything that matters. Not legal or financial advice.
