Sewer scope

In plain English

A camera run through the sewer line from the house to the street, to find cracks, roots, sags and collapsed pipe. It's separate from a standard inspection.

Why it matters to you

The line from the house to the street is usually the owner's responsibility, and replacing it can be expensive. A scope is worth it on older homes and homes with big trees in the yard.
