Final walkthrough

In plain English

Your last visit to the home, usually a day or two before closing, to check that it's in the condition you agreed and that any promised repairs were done.

Why it matters to you

Once you sign, the problems are yours. Check the agreed repairs (ask for the receipts), the appliances that stay, the heating, cooling and water, and look for damage from the move-out.
